When you sign up to our mailing list to receive the monthly newsletter and other occasional email communications (mailings), such as event invitations, we obtain from you your name and e-mail address. We also collect and store technical and engagement information when you sign up to our mailing list and when you open a newsletter or mailing, such as: your Internet protocol (IP) address, the device type and email client you use, the links/buttons you click on, access times, and your location (country).

Additionally, if you have consented to our use of cookies, we will collect, store, and use the following categories of data when you browse and search our site:

You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Sign up to and open our newsletter and other occasional mailings such as event invitations.
  • Register for an event or training session online or via email.
  • Voluntarily give us feedback, suggestions or comments online or via email.

Additionally, we collect data when you use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

How will we use your data?

Alexandra von Westernhagen and team use your data for the purposes for which it was originally collected, and occasionally, for a reason which we consider related to and compatible with the original purpose, so that we can, for example:

  • Keep you up to date with news of past and upcoming events and training sessions, latest digital products and downloads, and progress on our initiatives by sending you the monthly newsletter and other mailings.
  • Process your event or training session registration.
  • Respond to and introduce improvements on the back of your suggestions.

Data which arise from your use of our website and engagement with our newsletter/mailings will be used to understand how our site and communications are performing, and how to make improvements to them.

How do we store your data?

We may store data collected by the website and third-party platforms manually or electronically.

Your data will be retained for as long as Alexandra von Westernhagen continues her activities. You have, however, the choice to unsubscribe from our newsletter (see the section “Your choices” below) and to exercise your data protection rights (see the section “Your data protection rights” below) at any time.

Newsletter subscription. By confirming that you accept the terms of this Privacy Notice when you subscribe to our newsletter via the website, you give us explicit consent to use your data to communicate news and updates to you, and to keep the contact details and data that you provide us with. The newsletter is sent out once a month, with a small number of additional mailings planned around events and training sessions.

All mailings out are accompanied by an-easy-to implement possibility to unsubscribe. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you may click on the “unsubscribe” link in the email to unsubscribe and opt-out of email communications.

Your data protection rights
